Virgin media table top box

I like a challenge, a client asked me what to do with this odd corner in his living room.
Underneath the oak table top is a stop cock for the main water supply that had been boxed in by the builders with a removable lid.
My client wanted to make the corner match the rest of his furnishings with out moving any pipes.
So I came up with this idea of making what you now see.
